YPHA Inc. is the Sunshine Coast's not-for-profit built by young people, for young people. We organise, we show up, and we push for change.
It's under 35. Across Australia, young people are being locked out of home ownership at a rate never seen before.
YPHA is the Sunshine Coast's advocacy body for young people's housing. We don't build houses. We build the pressure, the policy, and the pathways that make housing happen.
We are the collective voice for young Australians on housing access, affordability, and home ownership.
We push local, state, and federal government to actually respond to the housing crisis facing young people.
We champion practical solutions: prefab, modular, and community-led housing that puts ownership within reach.
I have grandsons in Sydney and I just believe that they'll never own a house, so I'm really concerned that, in this great country of ours, we are forsaking our young generation.
- Geoff Clarke, YPHA President
